Seven young women in #Nepal embarked on a yearlong journey of building their potential and enhancing their professional skills. As our second cohort of Subnational Governance Program (SNGP) Fellows, each woman learned firsthand how local government systems function, from service delivery,  policymaking, and judicial to the budgeting processes. Experience the transformational journey of the SNGP fellows as they recount the notable changes within themselves—gaining the courage to make independent decisions and evolving into confident, critical thinkers. Local governance fellowships like the SNGP Fellowship are changing the trajectories of individual lives and shaping the future of democratic local governance across Nepal.
