Cultivating a community of women data champions in Nepal is at the heart of Data for Development's (D4D) mission. By fostering coalitions among women in data, D4D aims to create a more inclusive data and tech sector that empowers women to excel. (D4D) supports the Women in Data Steering Committee, formed in 2020, to promote awareness and opportunities for women in data and tech. This coalition organizes the Women in Data Conference, partners with Nepali tech firms to facilitate women's entry into #technology fields, and conducts significant research on women's access to microfinance institutions. Through these collective efforts, D4D promotes a more inclusive data and tech sector, ensuring equal #opportunities for #women to lead and succeed.
